There will be no Saroja 2, says Venkat Prabhu

Many online portals recently claimed that a sequel to “Saroja” is on cards, and it will be directed by A J S Kantha Priyan. These reports even stated the script of the film will be penned by Samaran, and it will have S J Suryah in the lead role.

But now, Venkat Prabhu who crafted the first part of the movie has openly come forward and has confirmed that all the rumors surrounding the second part of this flick are mere rumors. The director also added that as of now, his mind is completely filled with 'Chennai 600028' second innings.

The movie will have Vijayalakshmi, Jai, Premgi, Nithin Sathya, Vijay Vasanth, Abhinay Vaddi, Shanthini Subbu Panchu, Vaibhav Reddy and Mahat Raghavendra in the lead roles.

A teaser of this movie was released recently, and it received positive reviews from all corners. It even crossed one million views in YouTube which is undoubtedly a phenomenal achievement.
